Christmas Hills Landcare & Nillumbik Shire Council

Nillumbik Shire Council has recently received Victorian Government funding to deliver deer control on private properties at some strategic, productive, and safe locations in Nillumbik between November 2022 and June 2023.

Join us, in collaboration with Christmas Hills Landcare, for a community project information session where you can find out about the project, ask questions and meet some of our contractors.

You will hear from:

• Nillumbik Shire Council explaining the program funding, target area, funded works, and safety requirements.

• Contract shooters about their professional experience, property assessment and deer control methods, and additional safety precautions.

• Both Council and contractors will be available to answer your questions.
